They say the eyes are the window to the soul. One could also say they’re the windows to a person’s health.
When you look into a person’s eyes what do you see? Are they:
A deep and vivid colored iris, encircled by a clear white, or are they
Bloodshot, sallow, and dull
If a person’s eyes are the former it means they’re in good shape: They have good blood circulation, a healthy liver, not lacking in many vitamins or minerals, and are getting plenty of sleep. As opposed to the latter where the person is likely in poor health.
Although our hair consists of dead skin cells, it still sys a lot about our health. For example, “limp, dry hair may also be a sign of hypothyroidism, or an underactive thyroid… causing your metabolism to slow down.”
Also, “A lot of people have dandruff that is easily treated with an anti-dandruff shampoo, but if your dandruff is starting to turn into thick scaly patches, it could be a sign that you have psoriasis, an autoimmune disease in which the skin goes into overdrive.”
Healthy, shining, thick hair says that our body is free of any nutrient deficiencies. Because hair plays an important role, our body’s find it necessary to make sure that our hair is adequate in strength and vitality.
